Comprehensive Dog & Cat Care
As dog vets and cat vets, our goal is to keep your pets healthy and happy from their earliest days to their senior years. Regular check-ups at our affordable veterinary clinic, immunizations, parasite control, spaying/neutering, and dental care will all add up to your pets' longevity and well-being.
At St. Francis, we know that early detection and treatment of potential problems always results in a much better outcome. When our vets perform a complete physical exam, they discuss the results with you. If we do identify a problem, we'll explore the various treatment options with you. If you need an emergency vet clinic, you can count on us.
Many diseases common to the Ozarks can be prevented through the use of vaccinations. We develop a vaccination plan based on lifestyle, location and other risk factors. In general, we provide boosters for puppy/kitten vaccines in one year and then again every three years.
We believe that your pet should be protected against those diseases which are most common, highly contagious and which cause serious illness.
For your dog these would include Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis,Canine Parvovirus, Canine Tracheobronchitis and Rabies.
Cats should be vaccinated for Feline Panleukopenia, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Chlamydophila, Feline Leukemia and Rabies. Head off vet emergencies in your pets by protecting them against disease.
Small Animal Boarding
Traveling with your pet(s) can be difficult. St. Francis can provide your pet with a safe stay whether it is your annual vacation, weekend getaway or just a day spent away from home for such things as doctor appointments. They have a boarding room in the clinic, that is air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. The dogs are took out twice daily for a good walk. If your dog is on daily medications, or a special diet, they can accommodate those needs also. They have a kennel tech whose main duties are caring for the boarding and hospitalized patients
Large Animal Care
Agriculture industry is vital to our area. St. Francis Vet Clinic is proud to offer complete animal health care solutions for large animals, whether they live on small family farms or in large beef herds. Dr. Eby and his staff treat most farm animals, including beef cattle, horses, pigs, sheep and goats.
Our modern veterinary hospital features a large animal haul-in facility. We provide routine vaccinations, reproduction-related calls (deliveries, prolapses, etc.), and complete treatment for sick animals. We regularly see and treat diseases and conditions such as respiratory diseases, dystocias, prolapses, pink eye, calf scours and lameness.
Our diagnostic tools are primarily radiography (X-rays) and lab work.
Radiography is an excellent, non-invasive diagnostic tool. At St. Francis Veterinary Clinic, we have the latest X-ray equipment. The images are obtained very quickly and can lead to accurate diagnosis of the underlying problem.
We also have an in-house laboratory for performing routine bloodwork. Our equipment allows us to perform such tests as Complete Blood Counts, Blood Chemistry Profiles, Thyroid tests, Heartworm Testing, Fecal Testing, Parvovirus tests, Giardia tests, skin scrapings, and ringworm cultures, among others.
St. Francis Vet Clinic offers a wide range of basic surgical services, from spays and neuters to soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. Our hospital has a large designated surgical suite with two surgery tables where both routine and more advanced surgeries are performed. All pets, horses, and livestock are assessed for surgical risks prior to anesthesia and surgery. Vital signs are monitored continuously throughout the procedure. We strive to make your pet's surgery the most comfortable, calm, and safe procedure possible.
Your pet will look and feel great after a grooming session at St. Francis Veterinary Clinic.
